Does this stop hair growth? foundation on roots, HELP?

i know its weird, but i sometimes put my liquid foundation on my roots to lighten it up a bit. because i dye my hair blonde and i got a lightbrownish root color.

i read in seventeen mag. that a trick for people who have brown hair %26amp; blonde roots,is to put a little mascara on the root just to hide light areas

the foundation matches my hair color purfectly, %26amp; it looks good, but could this effect/stlower hair growth?Does this stop hair growth? foundation on roots, HELP?
Not a bit. There are people on both sides of the fence that would love to make money on the idea if it were true.

If it arrested hair growth it would help the hair removal market

If it increased hair growth it would help the hair growth market

Both are ENORMOUS!Does this stop hair growth? foundation on roots, HELP?
No. Foundation is not going to slow or stunt your hair growth. If it works for you, then you can continue doing it without fear of any negative side effects.
The only way this would affect your hair's growth is if the foundation or mascara clogs the pore where the hair follicle is coming out. However, that's pretty unlikely, so go right ahead and color on!
